Unit 54.1 – Industry Focus on Air Purification – is responsible for companies with special environmental impact potential and/or special safety risk for the chemical, mineral oil refining, electricity and heat generation and thermal waste treatment industries. Your tasks include: Examination of application documents, the issue of assessments and the development of technical specifications in the approval procedures of the companies and plants in our competence in accordance with Immission Protection, Disturbation, Industrial Protection, Circular Economics and Water Law in the team of experts for law and administration, implementing environmental inspections in the context of official monitoring of plant and equipment in the fields of environmental protection (air, noise, smells, waste, waste water) and occupational safety; technical advice from companies, town and counties. Completion of a Bachelor's or Diplom-FH-Studiengang der Fachrichtung Chemie-, Umweltingenieurwesen, Verfahrenstechnik, Sicherheitswesen or a comparable scientific-technical field, readiness for external services (class B driving licence is required), expertise in the field of immission protection is advantageous, independent operation and organisational capacity, good written and oral expressability, Negotiating skills and team skills.
