The Schwarz IT KG is the central IT service provider for the selection, provision and operation as well as further development of IT infrastructures, IT platforms and business applications. In this way, the Black IT provides IT services for both the purchase country and Lidl as well as for the Black Service KG. In order to optimally support the departments through IT solutions in their business processes, the Schwarz IT takes up requirements of the specialist areas in consultations and works together with these professional and efficient IT solutions.

As a project manager / Product Owner in the BC AI Retail Forecasting, you take over this task for the field of AI Forecasting and develop innovative products together with AI experts. You are responsible for optimizing core processes of the group using AI. For example, we actively contribute to the reduction of food waste by predicting demand in our branches and thus optimizing the ordering process.

Design AI applications: You develop and evaluate new applications for AI in the field of pricing, from idea finding to implementation. Interdisciplinary cooperation: You work closely with a talented team of AI experts, department representatives and other stakeholders to assess the potential and technical feasibility of product requirements. Product Backlog Management: You’re puggling and prioritizing the product backlog, ensuring that the development is in line with the business goals and regularly presents results (e.g. in sprint reviews). Project management: You monitor time, scope, budget and risks and regularly report to management. Product responsibility: You take responsibility for the product over the entire life cycle, from conception to international rollout in up to 33 countries.

AI affinity: You are technically versed and have experience with the use of AI models as well as a strong interest in machine learning and data science. Background: A completed university degree in (economic) informatics, economics, engineering, physics, mathematics, data science or a related subject. (We are also pleased to receive applications from talents with cross-entry and corresponding experience in AI!) Project management knowledge: Experience in the application of agile project management methods such as Scrum or PRINCE2 Agile is beneficial. Analytical skills: You can analyse, structure and present complex questions in a comprehensible way – even for a non-technical audience. Communication strength: You have a safe appearance, excellent presentation skills and joy in communicating with different stakeholders.
