Your dual study The operational training at the Döhler Group headquarters in Darmstadt: Changing between practical use at the headquarters in Darmstadt and lectures at the University of Applied Sciences in Geisenheim, you are going through all the exciting food technology departments of an international company in the food and beverage industry. Product development: Manufacture of beverage patterns, conduction of sensory test methods & raw material Beverage production: basic materials, machinery and plant engineering & process optimization Quality management: investigation of raw materials and their own productions with regard to different quality criteria The theoretical training at the Geisenheim University of Applied Sciences gives you the following contents: Basic studies (1 - 2nd semester): Raw Materials Science, Sensorics, Basics BWL, Food Law, Chemistry, Maths and the Choice of Different Elective Modules Beverage Technology (3rd – 4th semester): Fruit juice Science, Process Engineering, Beverage Chemistry, Microbiology & Market Research Business studies (5th and 6th semesters): at the end of the 6th Semesters take place the exams that lead together with the Bachelor's work to the degree Bachelor of Science Course duration: 6 semesters (3 years)
