Consultant ''Land Operations'' (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Senior Consultant (m/w/d) from now on and in full time at one of our BWI locations. The Center of Excellence Consulting of the BWI acts as a trusted and established partner of the Bundeswehr. As part of the IT system house of the Bundeswehr, we work for and together with our military customers on the development of our armed forces. As a pioneer, we design the digital nervous system of the armed forces, develop IT strategies and accompany digitization projects. In the advisory field “Land & Special Operations” we support and design digitization projects in the field of land operations and in the context of the special forces of the Bundeswehr and thus contribute to the information superiority of our armed forces. In our consulting projects, we work in integrated teams at the digitization of land-based operation (D-LBO) and the management association Land (FüVbuLa). In addition, we support the specialists in the realization of their essential digitization projects and successfully implement future technologies. Management of consulting subprojects and technical coordination of employees

Proactive further development of the advisory field Land & Special Operations

Conceptual consulting and support services for: experiments, studies, process analyses, request advice, IT service developments

Accompanying tenders for subcontractors and, where appropriate, Control of this

Observing an interface function between the customer Bundeswehr and the internal departments of BWI

Consulting and support of the customer Bundeswehr at different stages of the procurement process

Support of the customer Bundeswehr in the creation of project-related concepts

Creation of project-related documents

Advice and support in the area of request management

Advising the customer Bundeswehr in the technical implementation of the project

Advising the customer on opportunities in applying technology trends

Completed subject-related university studies of (economic) informatics, (economic) engineering, organizational, business or economics, or Detection of a comparable qualification

At least 2 years (when studying) or 5 years (in the case of training) relevant professional experience in IT consulting preferably in the customer environment Bw Very good German knowledge and good English knowledge in word and writing Experience in a land-based operations/special operations (e.g. S/ G/ J-3 Operations, S/G/ J-4 Logistics, S/ G/ J-5 Plans, S/ G/ J-6 Communications and Information Systems, J-7 Training)

Experience in IT and technology consulting desirable

Experience with current Battlemanagement Systems (Sitaware or TAK) as well as the arms and procurement processes of the Bw desirable

High level of initiative and sense of responsibility

Ability to structure and visually prepare information

High communication and social competence

Initiative, organisational skills, creativity and enforcement
