For our location in Heidelberg, Munich, Berlin or Leipzig, we are looking for you as Finance Lead Insurance (w/m/d) with a multi-day Mobile Office option.

Your mission

As an equal part of the management coalition from Business, Product & Finance, you take real Co-Ownership for P&L, Forecasts and Consistent Planning – Finance as an active, responsible Value Driver You control the scaling of marketing, product and business teams along clearly defined KPI targets and ensure that growth is implemented efficiently and economically You set clear financial guidelines, translate strategic goals into resilient control logics and create transparency for sound decisions in a dynamic environment You act as a central interface between Business Unit, Finance & Controlling, Accounting and cross-functional teams You present sovereign performance at senior level, defend business cases from top management and investors – your analyses are the basis for sustainable decisions You deliver meaningful performance insights monthly and control the quality of financial reporting processes You continue your finance team (disciplinary) and continuously optimize processes, systems, methods and data frameworks You will be measured how well you can make growth, profitability and investment decisions of the Insurance-BU transparent, controllable and scalable

A successfully completed study of economics or a comparable subject with sound finance expert Multiannual professional experience in a senior finance, business or controlling role in a growth-driven e-commerce, platform or insurance environment with high dynamics or corporate consulting / investment banking / audit Funded competence in Business Planning, Financial Modeling, Scenario and Sensitivity Analysis – you can create resilient decision bases High stakeholder and communication strength at senior level: You are discussion- and conflict-proof, present convincingly in front of top management Ideally, first leadership experience combined with pronounced hands-on mentality: You develop teams, but you can work deep into models, analyses and decision-making bases Very good German and safe English knowledge in word and writing
