Administrator in Unit A.I.3 – Technology in CBRN Protection (m/f/d)

The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make Germany more crisis-proof. We are looking for unlimited duration at the next time a specialist (w/m/d) Paying group 12 TVöD (Bund) A.I.3 – Technology in CBRN protection at the Bonn office.

Development and further development of the EDV system – As a central control unit between discipline and external software development, you evaluate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of adaptation requests and drive forward the further development of the system. In our in-house laboratories, you will test the EDV applications in conjunction with the CBRN measurement technology. Infrastructure support – you maintain the entire infrastructure “CBRN exploration” distributed to mobile deployment vehicles, the VPN network and the servers (extension, maintenance, optimization, monitoring and documentation). When purchasing, you create accurate technical requirements and accompany the entire procurement process. Practical introduction and support – you take responsibility in the delivery and practical introduction of the application systems with the focus on EDV (hardware and software). Knowledge transfer – You design and control self-responsive training measures as well as specialist training scenarios and thus ensure the qualified transfer of theoretical training contents to operational practice. Basic work – As a specialist/specialist, you can ensure in the team that application and tactics standards meet the current scientific and technical standards.

You have successfully completed a relevant university degree (Bachelor or Diplom FH), for example in computer science or a comparable IT-technical orientation. You have already gained at least three years of practical professional experience corresponding to your higher education. An application is also possible if you do not have the required degree of study or have less professional experience, but could nevertheless perform these tasks. You ideally have knowledge and experience from individual of the following technical fields: operating systems: Windows, Linux Client, server and network technologies Firewall, VPN, basic BSI protection Java applications, JavaFX Databases

At best, you have already gained professional or voluntary experience in the field of civil and civil protection, e.g. through cooperation in a fire department, relief organization or THW. Advantageous are prior knowledge of techniques and methods which are used in CBRN protection (ABC protection) (e.g. measurement technology, protection equipment, decontamination) or practical experience in these topics. You structure your tasks independently and convince by your solution-oriented working. You actively support your colleagues, share your knowledge and contribute to a positive working environment in the team with your esteemed communication. You are proactively committed to our internal and external partners and convince – even in stressful moments – by your service-oriented attitude. Ideally, you have a class B driving license, better class C. You have a very good expressiveness in German and English (German C2/English B2 according to GER). Since our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organisation.

Grouping by E 12 TVöD – We offer you an unlimited employment relationship according to E 12 TVöD. *For applicants without the required university degree or with less professional experience, the grouping – according to TVöD (Bund) – usually takes place lower.
