The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Sachsen-Anhalt offers a very differentiated range of assistance in the stationary and outpatient areas for children, young people and families in the Salzlandkreis. These include kindergartens, horts, school social work, stationary housing groups, cared for housing as well as children, youth and family centres. For our SOS Children's Village Sachsen-Anhalt we are looking for a 01.07.2026 Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/Where.) As part of the project “Empowerment for Parents” you support families to strengthen their education skills and actively promote the development of their children. Your site is the Kita Parkwichtel in Könnern OT Beesenlaublingen. You strengthen parental work and create a trusting and value-adding cooperation with the families. You promote children in a targeted manner and actively involve parents in the educational and development process. You work constructively and actively with the Kita team. You conduct a social space analysis to identify needs and develop corresponding offers. You are conscientious about the protection of children and responsibilities and always act in the sense of child welfare.

You have a degree as a state-approved educator*in or a higher education qualification in social work or Social education. You bring security in dealing with the legal foundations of child and youth aid. You have well-founded knowledge in the field of child protection and are responsible for your work. Your handling of proximity and distance to the supervised children and families is professional and reflected.
