IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

Operation of MSSQL and PostgreSQL servers (installation, deployment, performance optimization) Removal and recovery of databases/servers (Backup, PITR, Disaster Recovery) Administration and support for application installations Analysis and definition of data transformation requirements as well as selection, integration and operation of ETL/ELT tools and data pipelines Implementation of data governance (catalog, lineage, quality checks, access controls)

Complete study of computer science, business informatics, mathematics, engineering or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in the administration of MSSQL and PostgreSQL servers as well as in the construction and operation of data processing environments (ETL/ELT pipelines, data storage/warehouse), including project or practice evidence for database migration, consolidation or disaster recovery tests Secure handling of SQL, backup strategies and performance tuning as well as practice in the selection and connection of data transformation tools (e.g. Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow) and experience with Docker and Kubernetes (containerization of database and ETL components) Knowledge in script languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation, basic knowledge in Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers as well as network basics Impressed team and communication skills and documentation-oriented work in order to understand technical issues for specialist areas
