As a professional, you support the strategic customer communication and positioning of the EIS department for AI solutions in the commercial industry.
For our Fraunhofer HNFIZ location in Heilbronn, we are looking for experts with talents and professional experience who are inspiring for the above-mentioned areas and who are keen to build the topic AI in trade and thus topics such as AI-based pricing, automated goods flows or assortment optimization. What you do with us
- Design of future technologies: After a well-founded and structured incorporation, you will design and implement groundbreaking concepts in the fields of Data Science and GenAI in particular as well as artificial intelligence in general - with a focus on realisation of applications in trade such as Forecasting, Operations Research and Sequential Decision Making.
- Pioneering work in new topics: Open and develop depending on your expertise They focus on future issues such as e.g. AI-based pricing, automated goods flows or assortment optimization - always with regard to technical excellence and economic usability.
- Leadership and responsibility: With increasing experience, you take on technical responsibility as a (partial) project manager - both in industrial projects and in publicly funded research projects. They actively participate, guide teams professionally and accompany our partners as a trusted AI expert.
What you bring
- An excellent university degree (Master, Diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences or a related subject
- First experiences (also sufficient internships) in the areas of software engineering, data science or machine learning as well as in team-oriented solution generation are advantageous
- First experiences (also trainees sufficient) in project management and its implementation with agile methods are advantageous
