Head of Product and Inventory Management (m/f/d)

Active, innovative product development based on defined standards, taking into account coverage margins and secure and comprehensible assumptions Systematic market and competition observation including premium and performance comparisons as a basis for product and tariff decisions Analysis of market and customer needs for early identification of opportunities and risks as well as for deriving new or optimized products Responsibility for tariff and tariff logic using your pronounced (insurance)mathematical understanding to ensure sustainable, sustainable results Strategic further development of stock control, stock management and profitability programmes, and sound analysis of new business Integrating the underwriting into the operational operation and support for large-scale connections and association group business Continuous optimization of technical and digital operational processes with focus on efficiency, time to market, polishing and scalability Construction, control and further development of a holistic KPI management and control system to control the economic operation of the product and stock portfolio using modern technologies Organisation and control of the production of all materials necessary for polishing and inventory collection (policy texts, tariffs, statistical instructions) for regional directories and self-managed stocks Conception, control and responsibility of training formats for partners and internal teams Close, binding communication with the regional directories to ensure a smooth operation, including collective changes, new collective agreements, framework and special agreements, and measures to maintain and reconcile the contract Regular exchange with the regional directorates on operational issues, in particular on the profitability of products, results of inventory actions, reorganization activities and market analyses Active interface management as well as intensive information exchange with controlling, sales, IT, actuariat and marketing Leadership, development and control of 4 departmental directors with clear earnings and operational responsibility

For this demanding leadership position, we are looking for an entrepreneurial thinking personality with a strong professional depth and experience in controlling complex operational units: Study & experience Successfully completed legal, business, (insurance)mathematical or comparable studies Multiannual relevant professional experience in the product and inventory management of an insurance company, ideally in legal protection insurance At least five years of proven leadership experience in a comparable position with earnings and operational responsibility Knowledge of insurance technology and a deep understanding of sales models and channels Technical and methodological skills Very rapid opinion on the analysis of complex stocks, tariffs and business relationships Experience in project management, ideally with agile methods High security in dealing with market research, business cases, data analysis and KPI systems Embossed technical and digital understanding Very good knowledge of German in word and writing as well as the ability to address-oriented, binding communication Personal strengths Embossed communication and team skills at all hierarchical levels Strong analytical thinking combined with clear priorities Creativity, implementation strength and pronounced solution orientation In-depth technical know-how as well as a very good understanding of GuV, operational control mechanisms and responsibility for the outcome of an insurance company Very good knowledge of the German insurance market Ability to create enthusiasm for product, inventory and business topics and to integrate relevant stakeholders in a sovereign manner
