PLD/FPGA Developer for Aerospace Software (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

You develop digital logic solutions based on FPGA and PLD, which are used in sophisticated embedded systems. You will be involved in the planning and implementation of complex software functions and also take on co-ordinative tasks. You convert technical requirements into clear architectural concepts and detailed specifications - so that hardware, modules and control logic are perfectly matched. You work on the integration and commissioning of control units, including programming and testing of Board Support Packages. Together with colleagues, you analyze concepts, check design details and carry out structured reviews. You document test results and verification steps cleanly and prepare them so that You are understandable and comprehensible. In close cooperation with the safety team, you support the creation and evaluation of safety considerations and technical risk analyses. In addition, you design software and development strategies that shape future product generations. You work interdisciplinary - with hardware, software, testing and systems engineering.

That's what you bring:

You have completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering or electronics - or a similar qualification. Experience in the development of embedded systems and FPGA/PLD technologies will help you. Tools like Xilinx, Microsemi/Microchip, Altera/Intel or Libero are not strange to you. You feel comfortable in technical reviews, in the verification of digital designs and are happy to work in the team. Very good German skills complete your profile. Bonus: experience in aviation, model-based development (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink) or knowledge of DO‐254.
