Internal Auditor – Food Industry (m/f/d)

We are looking at the next time: Interne Revisor / Internal Auditor (m/w/d) – Food Industry As soon as possible, full-time, unlimited, Bavaria – Region Regensburg (including international business trips)

Cross-site audits: independent planning and implementation of process and risk-oriented internal audits at our three German locations as well as at our European sister companies. Focus on compliance and efficiency: review of business processes (including production, procurement, warehouses and logistics as well as finances) with regard to efficiency, profitability and compliance with internal policies and legal regulations. Monitoring of the internal control system (ICS) and compliance: assessment and continuous development of the internal control system (ICS) at work level, and detection of compliance risks and cross-border irregularities. Risk management and governance: assessing the effectiveness of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERM) and reviewing the business continuity and crisis management plans. International cooperation: close coordination of audit activities, audit plans and methods with the internal audit team of our European parent company. Reporting: Creating transparent, objective audit reports in German and English for the Bavarian Executive Board and the European Executive Board. Action tracking: Agreement of effective optimization measures with local departments in Germany and abroad, followed by consistent monitoring of their implementation (follow-up process).

Education: Successfully completed studies of business management, economics, the International Management or a related subject with a focus on auditing, controlling or finance. Professional experience: several years of well-founded professional experience in the field of internal auditing in an industrial company (ideally FMCG/food industry) or an audit firm. Additional qualifications: A certification as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or similar qualifications are very desirable. Analytical Competence: Embossed process understanding, high numerical affinity and a structured, objective and solution-oriented way of working. Communication skills: self-confident appearance, pronounced conflict resolution capabilities and high intercultural competence for work in a European group. IT and language skills: Secure handling of modern ERP systems (e.g. SAP, CSB) and data analysis tools as well as business-related German skills and fluent English (further European languages are advantageous). International mobility: readiness for regular service trips to our German plants and European corporate sites (approximately 30–40 %).
