Finance Controller (m/f/d)

We are 50 employees at our location in Lübeck, including 29 engineers from hardware and software development. We will look for you as a controller (m/w/d) in full or part-time (from 25 hours per week) and as a dedicated support for our commercial area. In this position you work closely with our commercial management, Marina, as well as our managing director, Malte, and internal stakeholders. In the case of a full-time activity, the position is expected to have a share of 60% controlling and 40% project controlling and control.

Creation and further development of management reports, key figures reports and business analysis Creation of forecasts, budget and medium-term planning and implementation of plan-actual comparisons and deviation analyses Analysis of cost structures, cover contributions, earnings developments and cost-effectiveness of projects and business areas Support for monthly and annual financial statements and preparation of meaningful final analyses Preparation of decision bases and ad hoc analyses for management, commercial management and departments Further development of controlling processes, reporting structures and digital evaluation systems Participation in the digital development of the financial and controlling sector, in particular through the use of modern BI, automation and AI-based analysis, reporting and planning solutions Project controlling in cooperation with our business units: Create and monitor project budgets, analyze actual and plan cost comparisons, analyze deviations and recommend measures, schedule and resource controlling, risk and chance management, create reports for our management

Complete study of business management, controlling, finance or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in controlling, accounting or auditing Very good German knowledge (min. C1 level) and basic English knowledge (min. A1 level) Very good commercial understanding, analytical thinking and a structured, independent working Very good knowledge in Microsoft Excel as well as routined handling of common Microsoft-365 applications Ideally power BI knowledge or interest in building modern dashboards and data-based reporting as well as knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Openness for AI applications in controlling, automation and digital process improvements Communication strength and joy in working together in a small team with our management, commercial management and departments
