You control the innovations in the market and set the course for the food trade of the future. As part of an 18-month, subject-specific trainee program, exciting challenges await you in a dynamic trading company with plenty of space for the active design of your task area. Your commitment takes place in the retail technology division at the company headquarters. During your training period, you will be intensively and individually supported by our staff development in your professional and personal development. During the trainee program, you will also learn about the relevant interfaces in the other areas of the central office in Cologne and one of the regional headquarters. You will get a unique insight into the entire value chain of REWE – from purchasing and logistics to market processes, sales to IT as well as other adjacent specialist areas. You benefit from various training events where you will get to know REWE Group as a company and expand your network in the group.

In the program we prepare you for your role as Project Manager: You take the technical responsibility for your applications after you have worked enough. You are consistently addressing the needs of our internal and external customers:inside, you are responsible for efficient and process-oriented IT systems, thereby actively shaping the core business of REWE as well as everyday work in the market. You play an active role in agile development processes and are supported by highly motivated teams from specialist areas, users and IT experts. You go new ways, introduce your ideas and learn from your accumulated experiences.
