Your tasks:

• Active submission of the energy transition by bringing high-voltage direct current transmission projects to a successful conclusion for our customers
• As part of a project team, you carry out hardware and software tests including customer acceptance, in our test center in Germany and on our worldwide HGÜ systems
• You are responsible for the configuration, testing and commissioning of field control devices for switching systems in high-voltage direct current transmission (HGÜ)
• Self-limiting errors and active support of our software engineering team
• They support the IBS leadership in quality, risk and claim management and improvement

Your qualification:

• Complete study of electrical engineering, energy engineering or comparable training/qualification, or completed training as technician
• Very good knowledge and professional experience in the commissioning of field control devices, ideally the SIPROTEC5 series with DIGSI 5, including the associated high-voltage components in the switching system
• Good knowledge of high-voltage and switching systems technology, as well as testing of locking logics and step chains
• Knowledge of network protection systems/protection relays as well as the handling of Omricon test equipment are advantageous
• Electricity (EFK) Certified
• driving licence available
• Good knowledge of English, German skills are advantageous
• Mobility/Procurement for missions and predominantly long-term deployments at construction sites in Germany and abroad and optionally on offshore platforms
• They are team players, communicative, show initiative, positive handling of conflicts and decision-making
