The Corporate IT (CIT) of Carl Zeiss AG is responsible for IT for all business areas of ZEISS. The diversity of the ZEISS portfolio at more than 50 global locations has an exciting complexity. We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager (m/w/x), who masters agile as well as hybrid and classic project management methods and is able to successfully plan and manage projects in the field of IT and digitalization.

Your duties Leadership of IT projects as well as the motivation and inspiration of teams to achieve project goals on time and efficiently.

The planning, management and control of IT and digitalization projects (classical, hybrid & agile) according to the IT project management framework.

The projects are responsible from initiation to successful implementation with IT specialist departments, external providers and business areas.

Highly motivated project teams perform professionally and work with different stakeholders across the site.

actively manage risks and adaptation needs in the project (including budget, scope, timeline).

As part of the project controlling and reporting, you are responsible for the progress measurement and compliance of time, budget and content objectives, the implementation of reporting and information, and the creation of risk/cost/benefit analyses and forecasts.

You ensure the combination of all project dates, project costs and project capacities as well as cross-project resource distribution

You monitor project KPIs and take over target group-adapted processing of complex IT-sach behavior and their visualization.

You have a successfully completed study of Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security or Information Security (Bachelor or Master) or equivalent combination of training and professional experience

Including professional experience in the field of agile and classic IT program and project management

Founded professional experience as project manager in several IT projects, with responsibility for their planning, management, implementation and successful transition to operational operation

Funded knowledge in individual areas such as SAP S4/HANA, Salesforce, IT Security, Operations, MS Azure, etc. are of advantage

Ideally extensive knowledge and certification in project management (Scrum, IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 or the like)

A high level of self-initiative (hands-on mentality) and a very structured and targeted approach

A pronounced conceptual and analytical ability

Excellent method skills and broad knowledge in (agile) tools and tools (ServiceNow, Office, SAP)

German and English knowledge in word and writing
