Category Manager - Marketplace (m/f/d)

As a category manager for B-&C articles on our growing marketplace, you play a central role in the strategic and operational development. You are responsible for controlling the product groups of our marketplace with the aim of combining the Würth range and the complementary partner offer into a powerful overall portfolio - for an optimal shopping experience of our customers. Together with internal stakeholders, You develop the range strategy and contribute to the scaling of our marketplace. In doing so, you bring innovative ideas and actively shape new processes and standards. You integrate new assortments of partners at the online contact point and ensure their visibility in the appropriate or newly created product group. You control the performance of all categories using defined KPIs and provide an attractive, competitive and customer-oriented range. You monitor and optimize the data quality for an ideal buying experience - with a focus on consistent, complete and error-free product presentations on the marketplace. You observe market and consumer trends, analyse competitors and derive concrete measures for assortment optimization and positioning. You use analytical tools to evaluate sales figures, customer behavior and assortment performance. Their decisions are based on data and contribute to continuous improvement.

A completed degree in business management or e-commerce with clear reference to digital trading. You bring several years of experience in category management, ideally in the environment of online marketplaces or digital platforms. Extensive analytical and entrepreneurial thinking as well as sound knowledge in KPI analysis and market observation. You convince by clear communication, enforcement and a good sense for internal and external stakeholders. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
