Design the future of medicine with us! We are looking for a senior physician (m/w/d) with a focus on angiology within cardiology. In this function, you play a central role in the care of patients with complex vascular diseases and work closely with interventional cardiology and rhythmology. The aim is in particular to further develop and profil the angiological focus within the clinic. Medical Clinic - Cardiology, Angiology and Rhythmology Chief physician Prof. Dr. med. Wolfgang Bocksch Chief physician Prof. Dr. med. Dirk Groß Meininghaus The 1st Medical Clinic has been headed by the chief physician Prof. Dr. Bocksch and Prof. Dr. Groß Meininghaus since the re-establishment of rhythmology in 2017. The clinic has 100 fully-stationary beds, of which 17 intermediate car intensive beds and CPU bed and provides a total of 4,500 patients annually. There are two state-of-the-art heart catheter laboratories available for invasive diagnostics and coronary interventions including emergency PCI 24/7. In 2021, 2 hybrid operations were commissioned for the treatment of structural heart disease and electrophysiology. More than 1200 coronary interventions, 400 structural interventions (TAVI, TEER, PFO/ASD and LAA-occluder implantations), 400 catheter ablations and 350 cardiac pacemaker implantations incl. Wireless pacemaker and subcutaneous ICD units. The cardiac imaging is supplemented by a cardio MRT and a cardio CT in addition to high-performance echocardiography. Your responsibility for patient care: participation in all medical activities as part of the stationary and outpatient care of patients with heart and vascular diseases. Clinical strategy: Active participation in the strategic development of the angiological focus within cardiology, including innovative diagnostic and therapy procedures. Management tasks: Representation of the chief physician and take over management tasks to ensure a smooth clinic operation. Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close cooperation with vascular surgery, radiology and other disciplines for optimal patient care. Service system: Participation in the background medical service and support of medical care also outside regular working hours. Your profile Specialist Recognition: Specialist (m/w/d) for Internal Medicine with focus on angiology or cardiology, ideally with complementary additional qualification. Qualification: Knowledge of angiological diagnosis (e.g. duplex sonography) and experience in cardiological patient care; interventional experience is desirable. professional experience: multiannual clinical activity, preferably in a house of maximum care; Experience in a medical function of advantage.
