Student trainee manuscript and document editing (m/f/d)

You work structured, have a good eye for detail and want to accompany an exciting project in the field of manuscript and image data processing? Then become part of our team (15 - 20 hours a week) and support us in creating and preparing an extensive specialist manuscript.

The structured processing of an 800-page manuscript is your responsibility. In doing so, you ask for a uniform structure according to the requirements of the publisher. You search for existing image data, balance them with the content and make sure that all the required images are completely and correctly. In addition, you structure and organize image data, forget file names and numberings according to the publisher's specifications and ensure a comprehensible deposit. Missing content, such as text or picture material, you recognize yourself and provide these gaps as information for the project team. A direct exchange with the company owner is also possible.

Training: You study technical editors, medical technology, orthopedics, information management, library and information science, or a comparable study programme Knowledge: Safe handling of the current MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook and PowerPoint (many data are as PPT in the file folders) First experience in structured work with extensive documents is advantageous Ideally, first knowledge in handling image data and different file formats Experiences in extracting and structuring graphics and images from PowerPoint or PDF files are of advantage Interest in medical-technical topics is welcome and facilitates entry
