The municipal data center Niederrhein (KRZN) is one of the ten largest municipal IT service providers in Germany. The KRZN offers its customers (e.g. district and city administrations) innovative solutions from consulting, project planning and development of applications to operation. Become part of the Linux team in the KRZN, both in the team and across the team, responsible for providing Kubernetes environments as a platform, central monitoring and logging as well as for the configuration management of the KRZN. You are used as a Linux specialist / Linux specialist (m/w/d) in the product area 'Linux' of our department ''Open Source'' at the Kamp-Lintfort site and, if desired, in the home office. Your tasks include: Development and administration of the system management environment for automation, config management and containerization (OPSI, Puppet, Kubernetes, Rancher) Participation in the administration and development of the “Monitoring” (Icinga, Grafana, Prometheus) and “Central Logging” (Elasticsearch ELK-Stack, OpenSearch) Analysis and elimination of errors and disturbances in the aforementioned environments Participation in projects for consolidating and/or expanding the aforementioned environments Working with standardizations and concepts of the IT environment taking into account the IT basic protection Support for and training of employees and customers and documentation

You have a (special) degree in the field of computer science or the like or a completed vocational training as a specialist in the field of system integration or comparable knowledge and experience You ideally have experience with the implementation and administration of the abovementioned products, in particular doll, docker and/or Kubernetes You already have good to very good knowledge of Linux operating systems and have experience with complex system and network environments on Windows and Linux Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in the IT field of a production company You possess the ability to work analytically, and are also desirable for programming We require a secure handling of MS-Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and good German knowledge in word and font (at least certificate level C1) The introduction of self-initiative, independent work and sense of responsibility is of course for you Team skills, organisation skills, pronounced communication and networking skills as well as a safe occurrence and a high degree of social competence complete your profile Nobody is perfect!
