(Senior) Process Development Engineer with a focus on Measurement and Electrical Engineering (m/f/d)

You take over the technical management of the hardware development of complex measuring and sensor systems – from design to prototypes to integration in special machines and series. You plan and control development projects independently and ensure precise, reproducible measurement systems taking into account mechanical, thermal and dynamic boundary conditions. In addition, you develop and optimise analogue and digital measurement hardware, sensor interfaces and embedded electronics including simulation, design, testing and calibration. Furthermore, you integrate the measurement technology in machines and systems, including the programming of measurement and data acquisition systems in conjunction with SPS/PLC and automation technology. Finally, you will ensure quality and feasibility through interdisciplinary cooperation, professional guidance from employees, structured documentation as well as measurement data analysis and optimization.

You have a completed electrotechnical study or a comparable further education as well as several years of professional experience in hardware development for measuring technology and sensor systems in machine or special machine construction. Finding knowledge of analogue and digital circuit technology, like experience in sensor technology, signal processing, EMC-oriented development and understanding of mechanical interfaces. In addition, you master the programming of measurement and data acquisition systems (e.g. Python, MATLAB) as well as the integration into sequence controls with SPS/PLC according to IEC 61131‐3. You gained practical experience in circuit simulation, PCB design, prototype setup, measurement system analysis as well as the application of statistical methods and relevant standards. Your profile is rounded off by a structured, precise way of working, high self-initiative, team and communication strength, and willingness to travel national and international.
