Technical Managing Director/CTO-be with a pioneering spirit (m/f/d)

We have been supporting a successful family group with various business areas for many years. GINKGO Textilbeton GmbH (www.ginkgo-textilbeton.de) with its headquarters in Dresden has been an independent company since the beginning of 2025. Textile concrete is an innovative composite material made of a concrete matrix and textile reinforcement made of carbon fiber fabric. The GINKGO textile concrete uses these outstanding qualities to produce very light, pre-stressed and slim concrete components for the engineering and construction sector. The flexible reinforcement also allows the implementation of free shapes and geometries. Our customer has been inspired by nature in the filigree organic forms of its products. The GINKGO textile concrete stands for lightness, stability, durability, frost resistance and maintenance. And finally – for an unmistakable style that brings new fertilizers into bridge, deep and high construction. In the course of a timely planned succession of age (year 2030), we are looking for a convincing and entrepreneurial personality as a technical manager / CTO in spe (m/w/d), who successively gets a large part of the responsibility. In the future, a double tip will represent a meaningful management.

With a direct line of reports to the Managing Partner/CEO, you are responsible for a small staff base and bring the right portion of pioneering spirit and entrepreneurship to continue building up and grow the GINKGO textile concrete. The activities are – in the context of research projects – to develop new patents and to identify applications suitable for the patent portfolio and to implement them as demonstration projects in prototype construction sites. The entrepreneurially thinking and creative civil engineer with a somewhat tense concrete experience can talk to the customers (manufactured concrete parts, builders like the Deutsche Bahn, medium and large construction companies as well as engineering planners) and is also able to hold lectures at conferences/fairs. The GINKGO Textilbeton was recently represented at the trade fair “Ulmer Betontage” and the trade fair appearance at the German bridge building symposium in Dresden was also associated with very good appeal and great interest. Controlling prototype production and installation in exemplary projects also belong to your range of tasks. You will focus on the company's targeted and number-oriented leadership, the further development and motivation of the employees and the management of future-oriented projects. The representation of corporate interests in corresponding internal and external bodies will of course take place.

You are a independently ticking and charismatic clock generator and cross-thinker at the same time. Build the bridge between the different worlds (classic construction management and good sense of market change and the resulting innovation strength). You are a manager with leadership skills that develops concepts and strategies and implements them sustainably. A grounded personality with courage, passion and business sense, ready to carry entrepreneurial risks and embodies the middle class. As a dedicated designer / maker, you have a look for the commercial, sales, supply creation/calculation as well as for clear priorities. It also distinguishes standing, liability, loyalty, persuasiveness and negotiation strength and you have a sense of family business. .
