In order to strengthen our “Right & Risk Management” department, we are looking at the Kassel site at the next possible time Senior Legal Counsel (m/w/d)

You advise the management and our internal clients comprehensively on company law issues and accompany legally relevant decisions at company level. You accompany Supervisory Board, Organ and Committee meetings in close cooperation with the Head of Department, support their preparation and follow-up and work to implement strategically relevant decisions. You are responsible for the legal advice and accompaniment of corporate compliance issues and support due diligence audits in strategic projects You advise our internal clients on complex procurement, contract and project projects, and also accompany procurement issues. You analyze legal risks and opportunities, create resilient decision-making bases for management and disciplines and actively shape the further development of our policies, standards and governance structures. As a trusted Sparring partner, you work closely with the management, executives and internal clients and help develop legally secure and entrepreneurial sustainable solutions.

You have successfully completed your second legal state exam. You have several years of relevant professional experience in a corporate law department, a regulated company or a business law-oriented firm and have accompanied challenging legal issues at management level. You have well-founded professional experience in at least two of the following topics: corporate law, corporate governance, corporate compliance, body management, and M&A and due diligence processes. Additional knowledge in procurement law is of advantage. You understand that complex legal issues are comprehensible, solution-oriented and address-oriented, and that legal risks are compatible with entrepreneurial requirements. You convince by a sovereign appearance, a high degree of consulting competence and a pronounced sense of confidential facts and sensitive decision-making situations. You work structured, pragmatically and independently and keep an overview of complex topics and diverse interfaces. Negotiating knowledge of English and very good knowledge of German in word and writing complete your profile.
