Head of SMART City staff with currently 12 employees Management responsibility in human, organizational and financial terms strategic control and future-oriented further development of the staff Innovation Scouting and Urban Foresight Further development of the metropolitan SMART City Strategy Community management and responsibility for building and establishing a SMART City network Responsibility for funding management in SMART City topics Exchange and consultation with the deterrent in all matters relating to the SMART-City staff and direct communication level with the department office

Qualification for the higher general administrative service or a completed, scientific university degree (Master) Engineering, Natural or Geosciences, Social Sciences, Psychology, Economics or BWL, Business Informatics long-standing proven leadership experience with personnel responsibility and a maximum of empathy as well as proven leadership experience in the management of projects as well as leadership skills, in particular conflict and consensus, decision-making, sense of responsibility and willingness to take over responsibility, planning and organizational skills multiannual experience in digital transformation in companies or in the public sector high communication capability with pronounced written and oral expressability safe and binding occurrence strong enforcement and negotiation skills above-average readiness Willingness to incorporate into new tasks and continuous professional training a high level of social competence Gender and diversity competence high service orientation and pronounced quality awareness safe occurrence and joy in respectful dealing with people high self-motivation, teamability and time flexibility even outside usual service hours at least English language level C1 Knowledge of municipal procedural and decision-making structures and experiences with political bodies are desirable
