Founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of DHL Group, it is our duty and passion to plan, procure and implement sorting systems for new DHL package centers as a manufacturer. Since then, in Obertshausen, Bremen, Bochum, Berlin Ludwigsfelde, Aschheim and Posen, we have built and commissioned six of the largest parcel centres in Europe in which up to 50,000 packages per hour can be sorted. As a project engineer, you take over the subproject management for identification and image processing systems in new and further development projects of our parcel centers. You accompany your system from conception to commissioning and work closely with internal departments, suppliers and our locations. Tasks: Planning, control and implementation of identification and image processing systems Conception and integration of complex solutions with optical sensors as well as CCD-line and matrix cameras Development of existing systems (e.g. OCR, barcode detection, 3D measurement technology) Responsibility for testing, acceptance and stable commissioning Coordination of technical requirements with internal customers Control of external suppliers and development partners Technical support of our locations in operation Considering work, environmental, fire and IT security requirements Transparent reporting to project management and management Technical and personal requirements: Complete technical studies (e.g. electrical engineering, physics, computer science) Multiannual professional experience in sensor technology, camera technology or industrial image processing Experience in technical projects or subprojects Very good understanding of optical systems and automated data collection Structured, analytical working and decision-making Communication strength and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation Very good knowledge of German and English Standing for occasional missions What we offer: In our team you will find great colleagues whose particular strength is their helpfulness and expertise.
