Training train traffic controller 2026 with further qualification (m/f/d)

A degree is too theoretical and doesn't fit entirely with you or you have your (special) abitur just completed or are just there. You are currently looking for an alternative where you have very good development opportunities. We offer you to start training on 1. September 2026 the 2-year training for the railway operator:in the train control (w/m/d). After completed vocational training, you work for about 12 months as a train tax. After this practical phase, the target position is directed. Here you have three choices: further qualification to the specialist, train disposition, timetable creation (terrace) In the training, you are in one of the numerous control centers of the railway (called ''Stellwerk'') and learn the following activities: you are testing and controlling the train with technical support, e.g. in the form of screens or display boards, so that the trains take the right path. You decide when to stop, drive or overtake the trains. You serve and set switches as well as light signals and thus influence the train traffic. In addition, you are in contact with the guides via Funk to inform them about changes. Your practical deployments take place in various control units in the Munich area. You are visiting seminars at DB Training mainly in Munich. The vocational school is located in Landshut, a room is provided. After your training and a 12-month practice as a train taxer, you will be employed in your chosen target position: Further qualification for the specialist for railway operations at the headquarters or in the Munich network During the 2-year further qualification as a specialist for railway operations, you will run various departments and get to know possible later areas of application In addition to the hospitations in various departments, you will visit seminars, for example cost-performance accounting and labour law. You complete the specialist with an internal oral and written exam After further qualification, you have the possibility to become a manager with a disciplinary direction or a purely professional guidance for the control team or trainer: in the course of the train. Continuing qualification for the train disponent The further qualification for the train subscriber takes about 6 weeks. Here you will learn to ensure the safe, punctual and non-discriminatory handling of the complete train traffic. In case of schedule deviations, you coordinate overhauls

Continuing qualification in the road map (track) The further qualification as a train manager:in takes 3 to 6 months.
