Social pedagogue (m/f/d)

Supporting young people on their way to work means communicating more than knowledge. It needs personality, attitude and pedagogical feeling. In order to strengthen our team at the Überbetrieben Bildungszentrum (ÜAZ) in Brandenburg an der Havel, we are looking for a dedicated and empirical social pedagogue (m/w/d) – in part or full time (39 h).

As a social educator (m/w/d) at the ÜAZ, you are shaping more than just conversations – you are giving orientation, transferring values and ensuring stability in the transition from school to work. Your work is an important link between education, everyday life and personality.

Your tasks – Relationship work with substance & structure:

• Individual social-pedagogical accompaniment of trainees as part of over-company training
• Consulting & Support for personal, school and professional challenges such as conflicts, motivation, fear of examination, everyday structure
• Realisation & participation of pre-vocational measures of young people – from school to work
• Risk Intervention & Conflict Resolution in the training day and in the guesthouse/tourism of the ÜAZ Brandenburg – in close coordination with instructors, ÜAZ management and training companies
• Network work & exchange with guardians, schools, youth assistance, authorities and cooperation partners
• Sustainable training
• Documentation and participation in development reports

Your technical requirements:

• Completed studies of social education, social work or comparable educational disciplines (Diplom, B. A. or M. A.)
• Professional experience in work with young people and young adults, ideally in the transition school – profession
• knowledge of consulting methods, conflict moderation, mediation and/or group pedagogy desirable
• Secure handling of MS Office and digital documentation
