Certification Engineer (m/f/d)

You accompany technical approval and certification processes for our marine and offshore products as well as explosion protection. You are a central interface to classification and certification companies and represent our company in voting, audits and admission procedures. You plan and coordinate admission procedures, clarify product-specific requirements and coordinate the necessary internal procedures. You create, maintain and coordinate the required submission documents and product documentation. You plan and accompany external type-approval and factory audits as well as the implementation of necessary corrective measures. You take over the function of the explosion protection officer and ensure compliance with the relevant requirements in explosion protection.

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable. You ideally have experience in the field of technical approvals, certifications or product testing. Knowledge of explosion protection and relevant regulations, in particular ATEX, are advantageous. You understand complex technical relationships and can communicate them in a comprehensible manner. You work independently and structured, communicate safely and keep track of multiple projects. You have knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
