The clinic

The Medical Clinic III for Cardiology and Internalist Intensive Care is a powerful focus provider with a wide diagnostic and therapeutic range. Around 3,400 stationary patients are treated annually.

The clinic has 50 common-station beds and a modern interdisciplinary intensive and cardiological intermediate-care station with 8 or 9 beds. The clinic has a modernly equipped non-invasive functional unit at a high current level. In addition to non-invasive diagnostics, two powerful cardiac catheter laboratories are available for the entire spectrum of invasive coronary diagnosis and interventional therapy. Around 2,200 cardiac catheter examinations and 1,100 coronary interventions are carried out each year. The established device program comprises approximately 160 pacemaker implantations annually (including two-chamber systems, leadless Pacern and CRT-P systems) as well as 110 defibrillator implantations (one and two-chamber ICDs, subcutaneous ICDs and CRT-D systems). A 24-hour heart catheter readiness for supplying acute coronary syndrome is established. Electrophysiological studies and catheter ablations are carried out in close cooperation with an established rhythmology centre.

Your profile

• Consultant (m/w/d)
• Preferably additional name Internist Intensivmedizin
• Multiannual experience in invasive coronary diagnosis and interventional therapy
• Safe handling of all echocardiographic procedures
• Knowledge of angiological basic diagnostics as well as in pacemaker and ICD care
• Experiences in the implantation of pacemaker and ICD systems are desirable, but no prerequisite
• High technical and social competence
• Responsibility, team skills and commitment
• Ready to participate in the call readiness service
