Head of Information Security (CISO) (m/w/d) occupation next possible | unlimited | Full time | Bureau | Campus South City Strategic development, design and control of the high-level information security strategy Conception, development and control of a high-level information security management system (ISMS) Management of high-school security architecture at management level Control and implementation of information security risk management, audit processes (BSI/ISO) and regular evaluation and further development of security measures Strategic control of incident and emergency management Conception and control of training, awareness and awareness-raising measures University-wide coordination of information security, management of relevant security bodies (e.g. SKDI) and strategic cooperation with data protection, IT management, departments and external bodies (e.g. BSI, ZKI)

University degree (master level), ideally in information security, computer science, engineering, law or a comparable subject area Including professional experience in IT and information security Very good knowledge and practical experience with ISMS according to BSI standards and ISO/IEC 27001 Funded expertise in generic AI, in particular in AI-based security testing and software development Good knowledge of IT security mechanisms for networks, operating systems and applications Experience in dealing with BSI-IT basic protection and relevant BSI standards, ideally in the field of higher education Expertise in data protection law (DSG NRW, BDSG, GDPR) and TOMs Safe handling of current MS Office applications and convenience Very good German and good English skills Embossed communication and organisational skills
