You in your role are responsible for running our production site in Kaltennordheim. In a customer-specific high-mix low-volume cutting production, you’ll see that dates are adhered to, the quality is true and everyone in your team knows what to do every day. The special challenge: The production environment is still under construction. Many structures and processes are currently being improved weekly. In all this development, you must always keep the full overview.

If you master structure and responsibility, and you prefer to speak plain text as conflicts, this role is perfect for you. Expected work results of this role in the first 12 months

Delivery performance: You stabilize our delivery schedule and increase it from 65% to 85% in Kaltennordheim.

Machine utilisation: You make sure that our machining centers come to at least 5,000 hours of active runtime per year.

Quality assurance: You reduce the reject and claim costs from currently €250,000 to less than €100,000 per year.

Warehouse envelope: You reduce our warehouse envelope (WIP) by a better capacity planning and faster production times by half.

Cutting is your basis: you have very good knowledge in CNC milling. You need to understand the technique in detail, to be able to guide and make clear statements.

High-mix and low-volume: You come from a production where the number of pieces is 1-10,000 a year normal and machine remodels belongs to the daily doing. There are not production lines here, but also not only individual parts production. You can use 3-layer with all pieces.

Guided tour with backbone: You can direct production staff! You distribute the work and make sure it is done. You can demand, develop and draw clear consequences.

Organizational institution & order: You're an order fanatic in the positive sense. Our CEO hates chips and disorders on the shopfloor. Your optimization urge ensures structured processes at all points.

Communication strength: You can express uncomfortable truths directly without demotivating your counterpart. You always prefer the conflict to the consensus!

Technical foundation: You have completed a technical study or technical training (e.g. machining mechanic or toolmaker).

IT affinity: You use our ERP system as a control tool for modern production. We are consistently trying to ban the production or Excel tables.

Presence: You are Mo-Fr on site. At the beginning of the weekend to bring things to the streets together with your team.
