Consultant (m/w/d) Portfolio Management

GASCADE is one of the largest operators of gas pipelines in Germany with a 3,700 kilometres long pipeline network. Our thinking and action is based on principles that are characterised by teamwork, diversity and innovation. To strengthen our portfolio management team, we are looking for a partner (m/w/d) as:

You take over the operational control and monitoring of diverse portfolios. Your work ensures that our strategic objectives are implemented. You coordinate and prioritize projects in the current portfolio – always with regard to risks, resources and dependencies. You identify operational risks at portfolio level and develop effective countermeasures together with the team. In close cooperation with project managers, departments and controlling you are an important interface within the company. You actively contribute to the further development of our portfolio processes, tools and governance structures. You create portfolio status reports and guide action recommendations.

You have successfully completed your studies in the field of economic engineering, energy management, business informatics, business management or in a comparable course of study. You bring 2–5 years of professional experience in operational project or portfolio management – ideally in the regulated environment or in the energy industry. You bring well-founded knowledge in classic and agile project management and resource management. Your analytical thinking capability, your high implementation orientation and your pronounced communication strength are yours. You are versed in handling MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with project or portfolio management tools is beneficial. An affinity for work with artificial intelligence is desirable. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
