The focus is on entrepreneurial capital: long-term capital for property and other illiquid assets. This enables us to participate in companies and projects that want to create a lively future. In the field of renewable energies, we develop our own wind and solar parks and take over the long-term management of the plants. We work closely with our sister company, GLS Energie AG (EAG). It invests in its own power plants and implements development projects for the energy transition. We also have our experience in the development areas of corporate participation and education. We support customers with corporate finance and management services. In the field of education, we develop the reversed generational contract and prepare a corresponding offer for study funding. The written function is responsible for the financial portfolio of GLS Beteiligungs AG (BAG) and GLS Energie AG (EAG). These include accounting, annual accounts, controlling, reporting, taxes and treasury. The function is also responsible for the cross-sectional areas of organization and IT, internal auditing, commissioning – compliance, data protection and money laundering prevention – as well as personnel. Together with the second member of the Board of Management, the function shapes the further development of the areas of corporate participation and education. She also assumes responsibility for organ affairs in subsidiaries and grand companies as well as a management mandate in the EAG. A personality is sought which BAG and EAG develops entrepreneurially and strengthens the positioning of entrepreneurial capital for customers. It combines a solid economic basis with clear social and ecological values. In this task you take: Leadership and further development of the core financial resort Together with the other member of the Executive Board, the responsibility and the strategic further development of the areas of corporate participation and education. The active participation and further development of the overall strategy of BAG and EAG as well as the implementation of strategic decisions in effective operational results (e.g. the establishment of the new area of education) Responsibility for a reliable, risk-conscious and proper management of your competence The representation of BAG and EAG to supervisory boards, shareholders and other relevant stakeholders The close and trusting cooperation in the co-presidential model with joint overall responsibility External and representative representation of BAG and EAG

This is ideally brought with you: Multiannual professional and leadership experience in a management function with overall responsibility, ideally as a board member, managing director*in or in a comparable position Leadership or responsible control of central cross-sectional functions, in particular finance, organization, IT, internal audit, compliance, money laundering prevention, data protection and personnel Proven experience in building and developing business areas or products to market maturity and economic sustainability Experience in the development, implementation and further development of corporate strategies A value-oriented understanding of leadership and the willingness to take responsibility in a sustainable and long-term corporate context A deep economic and financial understanding of the participation in entrepreneurial decisions at board level Communication strength, willingness to design and a good sense of linking market, organisation and governance the ability to trust in a double-headed team with clear task sharing and joint overall responsibility
