Power plant supervisor as shift supervisor (m/f/d)

Together with you for a warm and sustainable Hamburg! For the new Center for Resources and Energy (ZRE) in Hamburg's Bahrenfeld district, we are looking for several shift managers (all genders). The ZRE will be one of the first plants in Germany, which, in addition to the thermal utilization (fill incineration plant), also sorts residual waste and thus recovers valuable raw materials. After commissioning, we will mainly generate electricity and heat for up to 40,000 households. In this way, we cover a large part of Hamburg's district heating needs and thus replace fossil fuels and help the environment by saving more than 200,000 tons of CO2.

Professional and disciplinary leadership of employees of your shift and ensuring safe, efficient and trouble-free plant operation Responsibility for the operation, control and monitoring of the systems via the process control system in compliance with statutory requirements, regulatory requirements and applicable safety and environmental standards Ensuring high plant availability as well as continuous optimization of operations and process parameters Detection, analysis and evaluation of faults and deviations in plant operation and initiation and coordination of appropriate emergency measures Responsibility for communication and coordination with adjacent areas, supervisors and other layer lines Granting of work permits as well as carrying out and monitoring of activation and restarting of plant components Support for maintenance, revisions, commissioning and technical optimization projects Ensure compliance with occupational safety, environmental and quality standards in responsibility Active participation in the construction and development of operating processes in the operational phase of the ZRE

Successfully completed training for the tested power plant master (all genders), as an alternative master (all genders) in the field of electrical, control or machine technology, state-tested technicians (all genders) or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in the operation or maintenance of process equipment, ideally in the power plant, energy, disposal or chemical environment Experience in employee management as well as the ability to motivate employees and to safely manage them through demanding operating situations Funded technical understanding of complex plant and process processes Impressed sense of responsibility as well as a structured, solution- and security-oriented way of working High level of communication capability, enforcement capability and team orientation Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions sovereign even in challenging situations Readiness to learn, flexibility and interest in actively shaping the operation of a new plant Ready-to-use and health suitability for use in full-continuous interlayer service
