Dual studies - IT Security (B.Sc.) Bad Vilbel | Germany (DE) | Full time | Information Technology (IT) | Internships / Students

Start your career with a dual study (7 semesters) in the field of IT Security! In cooperation with the Technical University of Applied Sciences Mittelhessen in Bad Vilbel, we offer you from 1st. August 2025 the possibility to combine theory and practice. By changing phases of study and practice, you will gain valuable experiences and will be optimally prepared for a future in the field of IT security.

Are you passionate about topics such as network security, cyber attacks and the protection of sensitive data? You want to actively help make IT systems safer and minimize digital risks? Then you are right at STADA! For a successful application, you need your CV as well as your last two school certificates from the (strained) abitur.

Working with IT Security & Infrastructure: You learn how a global company like STADA protects its systems and data from internal and external threats. Analysis and assessment of safety risks: You help our IT team identify potential vulnerabilities and develop appropriate countermeasures. Practical application of safety concepts: You participate in the implementation and development of firewalls, authentication procedures, encryption technologies and access rights. Insights into regulated IT environments: You can find out which high requirements apply to IT security and data protection in the pharmaceutical industry – and how we meet them.

General Higher Education (Abitur) or Fachhochschulreife with good to very good degree (reached until the start of the study), ideally with strengths in mathematics, computer science or natural sciences Great interest in IT security and technical contexts: You follow current developments around cybersecurity and want to understand how secure IT systems are built Basic IT skills or first experiences with networks, operating systems or programming languages (e.g. Python, C++, Java) are advantageous Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability to tackle complex technical challenges in a structured manner Team skills and communication strength, both in higher education and in the business environment Own Initiative & Responsibility: You work carefully, get active and want to move You have fluent German skills and very good English skills
