The trade association Holz und Metall (BGHM) is one of the largest providers of statutory accident insurance in Germany. We take over insurance cover for around 5 million insured persons in more than 248,000 companies in both industries. Our aim is to help people who are endangered by working conditions or affected by accidents or occupational diseases.

The Legal Unit is responsible for examining and processing disputes and proceedings. In addition, it represents the professional association in front of the (Landes-)social courts. In order to strengthen our team in the Legal Unit within the Central Tasks of the District Administration Southwest, we are looking for you at the Stuttgart location.

As a specialist, you will process remedial examinations in the context of the opposition proceedings. In addition, you are responsible for the implementation of complaints and appeal procedures for accidents at work and occupational diseases. You represent the trade union in proceedings before the (Landes-)Social Courts. In addition, check performance complaints and collect them where appropriate.
