The focus of this position is the holistic breathing-therapeutic care of patients: in a challenging clinical environment. Your tasks as a breathing therapy (m/w/d) Patient care: care for patients with invasive and non-invasive respiration as well as care for respiratory diseases without respiration to optimize secretion management Weaning-Begleitung: Breathing-therapeutic participation in the protocol-based weaning process, in particular in prolonged weaning Interdisciplinary cooperation: close coordination with medical service, intensive care, logopaedia, physiotherapy, social services and psychology Documentation & Register Care: Leadership and Care of the Weaning Register Training & guidance: Training of team members as well as advice and guidance from patients: Interface Management: Support for the transition between intensive care unit and station for non-invasive and extraclinical ventilation External communication: Exchange with institutions of extraclinical intensive care Fields of application: Activities in intensive and normal stations and in central emergency Your profile (m/w/d) as well as training in health and nursing Professional experience: Multiannual experience in intensive medicine Additional qualification: Ideally specialist training Intensive medicine or alternative training in logopedia, physiotherapy or ergotherapy Expertise: Funded knowledge of ventilation, secretion management and weaning processes Working methods: Structured, independent and responsible procedures Personality: Team-capable, communicative, resilient and committed If you are interested in this responsible position, we look forward to your application.
