The Klinikum Gütersloh is a hospital with a focus on 410 beds in 12 departments and an academic teaching hospital at the University of Münster. The outpatient health center of the Klinikum Gütersloh gGmbH in the following MVZ is a 100% subsidiary of the Klinikum Gütersloh. The MVZ offers mainly specialized supply services for chronic diseases and patients with complex diseases.

Oberarzt (m/w/d) for vascular surgery

The clinic for vascular surgery has been in the area of Gütersloh and supraregional since approx. 30 years very well established. It has 30 beds and approximately 1,400 stationary operations are carried out each year. The spectrum includes the entire vascular range of arterial and venous therapy, including TEVAR, fTEVAR, EVAR as well as hybrid methods and is completed by the outpatient port implantation as well as open and endoluminal variance surgery.

The clinic has a vascular surgery seat in the MVZ and an outpatient surgical center.

The chief physician has the full training authorization for vascular surgery. The training within the framework of the Common Trunk is secured by cross-departmental rotations. There is also full training authorization in the field of phylebology. The job plan is 1-5-5. All vascular interventions, including all hybrid processes and endovascular aortic surgery, are carried out. The focus of the clinic is carotid surgery, aortic interventions (approximately 120 annually), peripheral repascularizations, phlebosurgery and the care of the diabetic foot.

Your duties

• Conducting a vascular surgery in the attached MVZ
• Supporting management of the station and the field in medical, organizational and economic terms, as well as training and mentor function for the assistant physicians
• takeover of the medical background service as part of the readiness to call
• Self-fulfilment of conservative and surgical treatments

Your profile

• You are a specialist in vascular surgery or Specialist in surgery with a focus on vascular surgery with already several years of experience as an upper physician or survivor
• independent control of the surgical spectrum and experience in interventional vascular medicine
• high technical and social competence, leadership and team skills
• high motivation and interest in demanding work in an expanding department
• the willingness to collaborative and motivating cooperation with doctors, technical and nursing staff
