A head of operations is being sought for the overall responsibility of all operational processes relating to food production. Are you an experienced Operations Manager or Operations Manager with passion for food, high quality standards and strong hands-on mentality? Do you have the overview and cool head for food production, logistics, stewarding and recounting? They are in demand when it comes to optimizing processes, driving innovative food concepts, motivating a strong team to top performance and providing unforgettable culinary highlights at 1,000 events a year.

Location: Berlin

Guided tour & organisation: Head of chef, warehouse management, stewarding, quality assurance, workshop. Responsibility for employee structure, shift plans, building of representative structures Operational excellence & cost-effectiveness: management of production, warehouse, logistics, equipment handling and maintenance. Expansion of efficient production processes, planning, monitoring and control of economic KPIs Quality & Food Safety: Implementation of HACCP, IFS FOOD, Flowtify and EMAS in cooperation with the Quality Department. Training. Responsibility for external audits Purchasing, goods acceptance & supplier control: Strategic purchasing in cooperation with chef and finance. Supplier selection, price negotiations and refunds Logistics, Stewarding & Count back: Responsibility for equipment handling, cleanliness, return, inventory and availability. Warehouse logistics Production setup outside the event business: building and guiding product lines outside the event business Reporting & Meetings: Participation in management circles and regular meetings, development of reports and KPI dashboards for all operational areas

Studies or training in food technology, gastronomy, production management or comparable Multiannual leadership experience in a producing food business or catering company Experience in building or scaling production processes Strong communication skills, organizational talent, enforcement strength and a pronounced hands-on mentality Safe handling of HACCP, IFS and QM systems
