The following role is built up: Product and Application Manager SAP EWM / MM (w/m/d) IT product management | Köln | unlimited Responsibility for a system landscape that is already used – with real processes, dependencies and consequences in daily operation. Description The focus is on the further development of SAP-based logistics processes – with a clear focus on EWM and the adjacent MM processes. The decisive factor is not the introduction, but the working everyday life. Systems have to run stable, professionally supported and develop in parallel. This includes: ensuring a stable, comprehensible and loadable system operation structuring and consolidating requirements from departments, locations and contractual frameworks Translating technical requirements into implementable solutions with clear prioritization Making decisions – including competing interests Monitoring the implementation up to actual use in operational operation The role is consciously moving between specialist, IT and external partners. Different expectations are the normal case – not the exception.

Responsibility for the further development of SAP solutions in the area of EWM/MM across the entire lifecycle – from requirement to stable operation Recording, structuring and assessing requirements for benefits, feasibility and impact on existing processes Translation of technical requirements into specific implementation packages (e.g. User Stories, Epics, professional concepts) Planning and control of (partial) projects – from initialization to productive use Coordination and control of external service providers with a clear focus on quality of results and integration into the existing system landscape Ensure that further development and ongoing operation remain meaningfully interlinked – incl. Priority, dependencies and release planning Active role at the interface between specialist, IT and operating locations – with a view to feasibility in day-to-day business Your working environment Part of the IT product management with currently seven employees – a gradual expansion is planned. That means: direct content responsibility instead of pure coordination close cooperation with departments and locations Decisions with immediate effect on operating processes

The focus is on the ability to record SAP requirements in a structured manner, evaluate them professionally and consistently lead them into implementation. No generalist is sought, but a profile with resilient experience in the relevant context. Expected: Multiannual, detectable experience with SAP EWM in introduction, operation or further development (including customizing) Safe handling of the adjacent processes in SAP MM Funded knowledge of central EWM processes (stock receipt, storage, commissioning, shipping, returns, inventory management) Experience in the independent control of requirements and their transfer to implementable solutions Practice in project management (agil, hybrid or classical) Forced required: Experience from projects or activities around Bundeswehr or contracting authorities with a comparable structure Defence or arms industry Trans-organisational logistics
