Since 1999, the Städtische Eigenbetrieb Disabledhilfe (SEB) has been supporting children, young people and adults with and without impairments within the scope of diverse offers. These include different housing and care services, an outpatient care service, integrative and complex children's daycare facilities, health education horte as well as various support and advice centres in Leipzig.

Our kitchen

Since the beginning of our company history, we have been operating our own large kitchen in Leipzig for the care of our daycare centers, day care and living facilities. Our eleven-person kitchen team prepares fresh hot and cold meals for the breakfast, lunch and afternoon service of our facilities.

In the summer of 2026 our kitchen team moves into a new modern kitchen into the Marie Curie-Gymnasium in Wiederitzsch. At the same time, the Schulmensa is integrated into our catering concept and will be supervised by our team in the future.

The SEB is looking for 17. August 2026 a kitchen aid (m/w/d) for the food edition in the Schulmensa. The place is unlimited and includes a weekly working time of up to 30 hours.

What your tasks will be

• They prepare the food edition in the school kitchen.
• They give food friendly and service-oriented to pupils, pupils and employees and accompany the meals.
• They are much in motion during working hours, work predominantly in standing and actively support the entire output range.
• They portion and direct food according to requirements and regularly fill the output.
• They're helping to control food applications.
• They clean, sort and clean dishes, cutlery, trays and kitchenware.
• They keep work areas, output points and devices clean and respect hygiene and quality standards (HACCP).
• They support the team in receiving and storing goods.
• You take over economic activities in our facilities during the holidays.
