Consultant for Service and Timetable Planning in Public Transport (m/f/d)

You shape the entire range in public transport for a region in Schleswig-Holstein and develop the integral cycle schedule strategically. To do this, you agree with internal and external stakeholders and represent your topics in relevant bodies. You have a look at the quality of the operation in the networks you are responsible for and develop it with appropriate supply measures. In consultation with the transport companies, you plan the scope of special and replacement traffic. You participate in the design of transport contracts and prepare the public procurement procedures business program. You test the market, carry out analyses and develop ideas for the further development of the transport services.

You have a completed study in the field of traffic planning, traffic sciences, geography or a comparable subject, or a training that will enable you to fulfill these tasks. You enjoy the development of timetables and, preferably, experiences in public transport planning and knowledge in the handling of timetable software. You have a structured way of working and keep an overview even in unforeseen situations. With your very good communication skills, you can understand and convince complex facts. You are interested in public transport and are ready to take on bus and train journeys as part of your duties.
