In addition, the circular archive collects non-official documents such as photos, newspapers, AV media and documents from individuals, companies, associations, etc., in order to capture the regional history in its entirety and make it accessible to administration, research and the public. Since the end of 2022, the circular archive has its seat in a state-of-the-art construction in Viersen-Dülken. It has positioned itself as an out-of-school learning place and works with the schools in the district. The NS Documentation Centre for the district of Viersen was set up in 2025.
