The Department of Clinical Psychological Intervention (Prof. Dr. Gabriele Wilz) of the Institute of Psychology at the Department of Social Sciences and Behavioural Sciences at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena is at the closest possible time a place as Teaching therapist:in Psychology and Psychotherapy in parttime (50 %/20 hours per week) The Department of Clinical-psychological intervention deals with the treatment of mental disorders and psychological aspects of somatic diseases, as well as advice on mental problems or burdens. In addition to the analysis of general active factors of psychotherapy and psychotherapy process research, the development and evaluation of psychotherapeutic interventions for people of higher ages and for nursing relatives, the department focuses on research.

Preparation and implementation of courses in the modules ''Professional Qualifying Activity IIIa - Applied Outpatient Practice of Psychotherapy'' as well as ''Professional Training'' in the Master's Programme Psychology with focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy with the Master of Science Execution of outpatient psychotherapeutic treatments (teaching therapies) in which students hospite and/or treat under supervision Executing case seminars for the planning, documentation, organisation and evaluation of psychotherapeutic treatments Exercises for self-reflection as part of case seminars, small groups and/or as part of the therapy supervision Instruction and support of students as part of the application-oriented courses Leading initial interviews with patients:inside the research and teaching ambulance and the recruitment of patients:inside for teaching therapies Continuing the teaching therapies started with student participation, as required, up to the regular end of the therapy Coordination of BQT IIIa within the department: content and time organization of teaching therapies, supervision, case seminars and exercises in the student cohorts Participation in the cross-departmental coordination of teaching in the Master's programme Psychology with focus on clinical psychology and psychotherapy
