Maintenance Strategy Engineer

Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,200 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you as soon as possible Engineer:in for maintenance strategy in permanent employment at the Berlin site. As an engineer:in maintenance strategy, you work closely with the areas of asset performance management, plant engineering and technical planning as part of the technical and strategic management of maintenance for production plants. You define the maintenance strategy for the areas mentioned in cooperation with and on the basis of the planned plant availability, evaluate the risks and thus also tax the budget distribution across all locations. Your tasks Analysis of the technical requirements, market situation, availability and development of concepts and maintenance strategies for components, individual plants, power plant blocks and plant-wide develop standardised maintenance strategies, risk analysis and maintenance concepts depending on the plant types, operating modes, market situation and planned end of life and their implementation in the technical operator systems, including technical and economic optimization Analysis of technical requirements, availability and development of a uniform risk analysis across all locations Implementation analysis and further development of harmonised planning and maintenance processes for main production and distribution systems Development of appropriate tools for data analysis for the uniform risk assessment in cooperation with technical departments and IT departments Creating reports according to the task area

Complete university or technical university studies in the field of power plant engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and Economic engineering or equivalent Good knowledge of the maintenance of technical installations or the operation of power plant installations with practical experience Experience in managing and implementing strategic projects of the maintenance organisation Good knowledge of how to deal with the MS Office package, SAP and applications to demonstrate economic efficiency Embossed Analytical and Strategic Thinking Power Self-employed work and cooperation skills, work in the team and within the company structures Continuous training in the field of maintenance and monitoring of production facilities for deriving the maintenance strategy German knowledge on at least level C1 is essential You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
