In the tesa plant in Hamburg, we process large amounts of harmless and dangerous substances daily to produce high-quality adhesive tapes. Sustainability is particularly important to us: Together with other departments, we develop measures for waste prevention and implement projects for the circular economy. In order to achieve our goals in this area, we are looking for reinforcement for waste and hazardous materials management, which advises on all issues relating to safe handling, storage, shipping and proper disposal, and promotes optimizations, as well as projects in the field of sustainability. Your tasks: Support for the Waste and Hazardous Goods Officer in Operational Waste Management Practical advice of the departments for handling, storage and disposal of hazardous materials Participation in the creation of training materials and work/process instructions Training of employees Planning and implementation of process optimization, reduction of waste volumes and increase of waste separation ratio Support in projects to achieve sustainability goals

Study of safety, chemical or process engineering, environmental engineering or a comparable course of study or master/technician of chemistry with at least 5-year experience in handling hazardous substances At least 3 years of professional experience in the chemical industry or a similar field. Excellent communicative skills and enforcement High self-motivation and pronounced systematic operation; Joy of detailed and team-oriented work Secure handling in MS Office and SAP Very good knowledge of German and English
