In this position, you create technological solution concepts and support the physical and virtual server systems used for this purpose based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and other Linux distributions as well as AIX. Your tasks include building, installation and operation of the physical and virtual server systems. They work with open source automation tools such as Ansible and disable the configuration in a version management (Infrastructure as Code). They operate independent incident, problem and change management (2nd and 3rd level support) for RHEL and other Linux systems, as well as their central management, taking into account our high IT security standards. The creation of process descriptions and documentation completes your area of activity.

A completed study of computer science or a completed training for the IT administrator (m/w/d), specialist (m/w/d) for system integration or the like, combined with multiannual professional practice, forms the ideal precondition for this job. They have experience in a comparable field of activity and have acquired knowledge of server operating systems (Red Hat, Linux distributions) and server and network virtualization technologies.
