The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) is the largest university in Baden-Württemberg with around 33,000 students at nine study academies and three campuses as well as the Center for Advanced Studies. BiodivRegio is an innovation project at the interface of sustainability and business management. The focus is on how biodiversity can become a clear selling argument and added value for (trade) companies and customers. To this end, the entire value chain – from production to trade and sales to end customers – is considered. Together with the University of Hohenheim, the University of Economics and the Environment, Nürtingen-Geislingen as well as partners from agriculture, nature conservation and trade, the project will be funded by the State of Baden-Württemberg and the EU. The project is located within the DHBW Mannheim, the Faculty of Economics, BWL-Trade. Your central activities include: Development and business assessment of new business models and value chains, including digital platforms and sales channels Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of data (e.g. economic indicators, survey results, market analyses) Creation of scientific publications, reports and practical guides Project management and transfer of results Scientific further qualification (e.g. aspiration of a doctorate)

Completed academic studies (Master), preferably economics, alternative social sciences Interest in scientific work Very good knowledge of German and English as well as the ability to present facts for different target groups in writing and orally clear and understandable Safe handling of office applications; Interest in digital tools, data analysis and IT-based applications is desirable Representative team and cooperation orientation as well as communication competence High level of readiness and self-employment also with longer, independent working phases
