Number: MER00042AJ As an IT organization in a Mercedes-Benz production plant, we are involved in the digital transformation of the production processes, which we bring together with the local departments, the central planning areas and the central IT into the plants. Specifically, we are facing the migration of our production control system PLUS. With this migration, new cloud-based IT structures, UI's for users and standardization of processes are included. These challenges include: Working with project rollouts in the various departments, e.g. assembly during the introduction of new systems and commissioning of new hardware and software

Working with agile project management methods and tools (Jira)

Evaluation & Reporting of key figures

Support / implementation of training units in OneNote, MS-Outlook and mobile device environment

You will get to know processes in various areas. This gives you an interesting insight into the process and system landscape of a car bodywork. You also take care of smaller projects. Your weekly working time is up to 20 hours/week. There is the option to extend the student work beyond the winter semester. The activity is mainly carried out on site at the plant Rastatt. The activity can begin from September 2026.

Course in Economic Engineering, Business Informatics Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Knowledge in Jira

Strong IT affinity
