The Main, the Main-Donau Canal and the Danube are important trans-European transport links for freight and passenger ships. In order to ensure a smooth passage of these federal waterways in the future, the buildings, some of which are more than 80 years old, such as locks, bridges and Wehre, must be repaired or renewed and the driving channel of the Main must be expanded. Another task is the production of fish ascent systems at the stowage stages. With an interdisciplinary team of about 100 employees, the WNA is responsible for the complete implementation of these construction projects.

Construction measures at the Mainwehren Freudenberg, Faulbach, Rothenfels, Steinbach, Harrbach and Erlabrunn

The use is carried out as part of the basic repair of Wehranlagen am Main. The project for the six Wehranlagen Freudenberg, Faulbach, Rothenfels, Steinbach, Harrbach and Erlabrunn is still in the planning phase. Construction is expected to take place between 2028 and 2035. The processing is carried out in a project team in which tasks are formed. The main activity on the client side is the supervision of the construction measures at the warehousing facilities. The actual site of use is therefore located on one of the aforementioned weir systems (preferably sites of use can be mentioned). After completion of the construction measures, further use is made in construction measures on the Main. Until the start of the construction design at the six wehr plants, the installation is carried out with ongoing construction measures.

The following tasks are performed in a project team

* Monitoring the construction process, running the building log

* Work on measuring and accounting

* Work to process the construction plant

* Work to prepare tender documents

Your profile

You should bring this with you:

* Completed vocational training, graduate: skilled worker/specialist in the field of civil engineering, water construction or reinforced concrete construction

* Safe oral and written expression in the German language (corresponding to step C1 of the common European reference framework for languages)

This distinguishes you:

* good knowledge and practical professional experience in the field of construction and billing of construction measures

* Performance, care, responsibility

* Ability and willingness to independent, structured, self-organized, targeted work

* Ability and willingness to team work

* Ability to represent a position orally and in writing

* Experience in the application of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Class B and 3 (old), with the willingness to drive a motor vehicle (provided for service trips)
